The Club
Conception - The Early Days
The Peninsula Club was established in 1990, by Crescent Resources. The first round of golf was played in October 1990. The members acquired ownership of The Club on January 1, 2000.

The Clubhouse grand opening was celebrated on February 12, 1993 with a Valentine's Gala held in all areas of the Main Clubhouse. The black tie event christened the birth of Main Clubhouse to be enjoyed by the members for many years to come.

The Club proudly hosted the Fieldcrest Cannon Classic which was one of the highlighted events for the LPGA tour.

The members purchased The Club from the developer on January 1, 2000. The Club held a Millennium Celebration to kick off the new ownership of their club. The event was held in all outlets of The Club and marked the beginning or a new era for The Peninsula Club. The first Board of Directors for The Club were inaugurated at the event.
The members completed their first masterplan project which included the addition of the Lakeview Terrace onto the Main Clubhouse to pave the way for the birth of Mulligan's on the lower level. The Club also completed a drainage project on the golf course. The Sports Complex construction included The Fitness Center, Children's Activities Center, Massage Studio, Aerobics Studio, Fitness Locker Rooms and a full kitchen to service the pool during the summer season.

In 2022, the members kicked off plans for what would become the largest capital project in the history of The Club.

The masterpiece designed by Beau Welling opened after one year of construction.
